All white guys looks the same?

White people thinks that Chinese people all look the same, what about Chinese people? Do they think that all White people looks the same?

I flipped watching this. Honestly I don't think that he looks anything like Federer. I think it's a matter of following the crowd. When bodyguard and photographers follow, we immediately assume that the person is of importance. You can watch this other social experiment that proved this fact here. Hence, I don't really think that this is an accurate analysis. Not all Chinese people watch tennis and I do believe that even if it's a people of another race of ethnicity the results will most likely be the same. Nonetheless, this video is entertaining and fun to watch.

Social Experiment: Sexual Harassment

A male actor dresses up as a woman to experience sexual harassment. I have never been to Egypt so I don't really know how bad the situation is for the women living there. However, I have heard from female friends going there for a vacation that they are being groped several times while walking down the street and it is best to travel with a man for protection.

This is really disturbing and I am angered by these men. Why can't they keep their hands to themselves. If the same happen to their wives, female friends or sisters would they like it? How did it all started and why isn't anyone doing anything to stop it. It is a disgrace to man. Is harassment that difficult of a concept to grasp? We all have a right to walk down the street safely at all times, man or woman.

Social Experiment - You can't be a princess

A social experiment about onlooker mums on how a boy or girl should dress. I suggest you watch the video before reading what I have to say regarding this topic.

This is a  really thought provocative video. When I was younger, I was turned down to wear what I wanted and fit into want the society wants. Most parents are straight of course and the idea that their young kid is showing signs of "abnormality" frightens them.

If a boy prefer a dress than a spiderman costume, it doesn't mean that the boy is gay and the same applies to the girl. Even if the kid grows up to like the same sex, I really don't see a problem. I believe that no matter what other people does, you can't change how you feel. Attraction to different genders can happen throughout a person's life. You may like a boy now but you may one day realize you like girls better. Why not just follow you heart and let it leads you.

I find parents that try to fit their kids into a mould. There is nothing wrong with cross dressing. A lot of chinese, korean and japanese game shows have guys dressing up as girls. It is a light hearted matter and fun thing to do. I think more people should be more open minded and more accepting to cross dressing. Constant denial of a kid from becoming what they want will emotionally and psychologically damage their childhood. Let it be.

That's just my two cents worth on cross dressing.

Prankster Bus Stop

This is one cool interactive bus stop in Sweden.

Designers have been using photoshop everyday and this one put smiles on people's faces.

Good advertising by Adobe Photoshop.

Motion Sculptures

Street Fighter Motion Sculptures from dantheadman on Vimeo.

I found this awesome video on Vimeo. An awesome motion sculptures of Street Fighter characters such as Chun Li and Ryu. Kinda of nolstagic as it reminds me of my younger self, playing video games in a room with my cousins on a saturday afternoon. Very impressed by the visuals, especially towards the end!

The video was inspired by another animation entitled "Forms", which was really well done.

JacksGap

I was bored and watching videos and Youtube and I found Jacksgap's channel. Here are some really awesome and crazy ideas that I'm dying to try out. Sometimes, we just need to be a little insane in life. It looks really fun!

The Slowmo Guys

Seriously one of the funniest slow motion channels I'd ever watched. These guys are crazy wild! Very interesting ideas and visually amazing.

Sound engineering

Here is a hilarious short about what sound engineers have to do. All those knobs.

Sometimes bad is good

Check out this amazing video Poonikins The Magic Warrior Princess. I seriously find this video hilarious and entertaining. All the bad things that will happen in maya - timing issues, vertex overlap. However, some of the lighting, shaders and effects were pretty good though, not to mention the humor. Have a good laugh.

Dumb Ways to Die

Another viral video. If you have yet to check out this one,you have to! Really cute animation. Tips on dumb ways to die.

Jellybean Art

Jellybean art.

22 months
1,357 hours
30 people
2 ladders
1 still camera
288,000 jelly beans

Very impressive. As we all know, animation requires a ton of patience. In the same position, doing the same thing, just perfecting every subtle detail. Kudos to the animators! With Kina Grannis's vocal and jelly animation, it is just killer.

Be sure to watch the making of.

YAY! Adventure Time!

I love Jake the Dog and bacon pancakes. Here is 10hour worth of bacon pancakes.

It is pretty cool and funny but gets annoying after the 2 minutes mark so I set this tune as my alarm. Love-hate kind of song.

Dubstep Addiction

Recently I'm really into dubstep and I don't know why. I used to hate it with all the beeps, bass and squeaky noise. My friend said it sounds like transformer having sex. Haha! Slowly grow to dig dubstep. It's strange how the mind works. Here is one animation to go with 16 bit - Dinosaurs. Freaky cute and fun!

This cover of Skrillex by Luke Holland is pretty sick!

Very cool stop motion

First of all, I thinking the timing is pretty good. It brings out the energy of the sound really well. I love the choice of music and the box concept. Check it out.

Check out this amazing experimental short by Andrew Huang, recipient of the Special Jury Prize for Experimental Short at the Slamdance Film Festival. Very interesting play with medium, digital compositing and use of sound.

If you are curious of how this film is being made. Do check out the making of as well.

Social Experiment: You just need to look important

This is one of the most interesting social experiment I had watched this year. Fake bodyguards, assistant, photographers and camera crew to create "fame". Anyone can be famous for a night but this trick won't work twice..

It is one those videos that really describes the desire of ordinary people being around famous people. It doesn;t matter who as it is the excitement of having the chance to encounter a celebrity whom they probably won't ever meet in real life that makes them feel lucky.

Now we're probably sitting back to judge those people but would we fall for this if we in this situation?

Kimbra

This song is really pretty sick with The Mars Volta vibe. These musicians know how to have a good time.

BMW M5 - "Bullet"

I really like slow motion videos. It is just so awesome to capture the details that is not noticeable to the eyes. If you are like me who digs this kind of stuff, you should check out this amazing slow motion by BMW. Aesthetically beautiful artwork with melancholy sound design.
